NEWS!!
Guys, I finally found out about my laptop! It’s been forever, ne? Almost 3 full months. It isn’t good news, but at least I know the guy didn’t like steal it and go incomunicado.
The guy I sent my laptop to said that the problem with it was something he couldn’t fix. I nearly fell out of my chair because he presented himself as a big shot at repairing broken computers. Probably just some guy that can fix simple viruses. [The only problem with my laptop was a broken fan and screen hinge... not that hard to repair.]
So, now when we get it back [God only knows when that will be] we’ll be sending it to another person that the Toshiba company people recommended personally. He also said that he could fix anything wrong with my laptop in 2 days. We’ll see.
In the mean time, I’m trying my hand at subbing. I’m not very good, but I’m decent. The only real problem I have is my lacking Japanese skills. I’m mostly doing re-subs, fixing mistakes in positioning, spelling, grammar, and little Japanese mistakes. I don’t pass of my re-subs as original work, nor am I really re-distributing them at all. It’s for my own enjoyment and such. Maybe one day I could do them by myself for real. Who knows?
So… My next few projects. I have a bunch of different J-dramas to upload to veoh.com. Sadly, that website and I are conflicting a bit as it loves to make anything I download not work in some way. I’ve had to upload so many things so many times for them to work, and it’s a lot of trouble. I’ll try some more, though.
I’ve decided to start doing lyrics again. I have a few from Burimyu - NCitBH that I can post, and I have plenty of Tenimyus to listen to for lyrics. I think my first order of business will be to do the next two Best Actor Series and the first Tenimyu. I’ll try to have those done next weekend.
